This Saturday and Sunday (16 and 17 February 2018) in Hotel Marinela Sofia was held the forum for education abroad “World Education”, organized by Integral. Victoria Group Hotels and Resorts were presented in the section “Career Center”, and all those interested were informed of the opportunities for Internships.

Victoria Group Hotels and Resorts received the “Golden Prize” for “Best Tourism Company for 2017” by Tourism and Recreation Magazine. The edition presents the prestigious awards for the thirteenth time, distinguishing the leaders who have contributed to the development of tourism in Bulgaria.
Today, at the 25th International Tourist Excursion, “Holiday & SPA Expo, under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism, the prize was awarded to Svetoslav Georgiev, Victoria Sales Group Sales, Marketing and Development Director. He invited all those present during the forthcoming summer season to visit Hacienda Beach’s newest hotel in Sozopol.

During the tennis tournament Diema Xtra Sofia Open 2018 in Arena Armeec an interactive stand of Victoria Group, Victoria Holidays and Hotel Marinela welcomed its guests.
The lucky winners of the raffle Radka Filimonova, Diana Petrova, Mladen Hubenov, Sika Milenova and Ivan Nikolov won a weekend for two at the designed five-star Royal Castle Design & Spa Hotel. Around 40,000 spectators witnessed the attractive tennis matches at the prestigious tennis tournament in Sofia.
Eight of the most promising talents girls and boys aged between 9 and 10 competed for Mini Sofia Open 2018, also part of the Diema Xtra Sofia Open 2018 tennis tournament. ThTitle in girls won Gabriela Georgieva TC “Asenovgrad” and Ivan Ivan “TK Spain” from Varna was the winner for the boys.
Marketing Director Svetoslav Georgiev and Regional Director Plamen Hutov of Victoria Group Hotels & Resorts awarded the young tennis hopes with a weekend for them and their families at the five-star Royal Castle Hotel and Royal Casa Villas.

The business lady also runs its charity, the Marinela Association, which has supported dozens of sports forums throughout the country over the past year and aims to support gifted children in different areas and motivate them to develop their talent.

For eleven years, the fashion magazine has distinguished the best women in 10 categories – television, Internet, society, business, music, sports, designers, actresses, models and a message in time. The main criteria for choosing the most successful ladies are adequacy and merit to their public life in the last year. In the competition were nominated 59 women, but ten won the title “Woman of the Year” in the different categories. Marinela Arabadzhieva was awarded a business women of the year, in the context of the “Without Borders” topic, she said, “Dreams are the ones that lead you and help you cross the border. Business is important courage, determination and purposefulness, very clear knowing where you are going and what you want to achieve. Good results are the result of consistency, hard work and a strong team. ”
Marinela Arabadjieva is an inspiring, strong and successful woman in business. She graduated in pedagogy, international tourism and spatial design. In every hotel she leaves her handwriting, creating an elegant and sophisticated vision because design is her passion. She is married to businessman Valcho Arabadzhiev and has four children. For 20 years he has managed successfully the hotel business, and since last year he has founded “Marinela” Association with the sole purpose of giving children an equal start and a chance for their future realization.
On Oct-03-2017 was held the second for this year Induction Training for new employees at Hotel Marinela Sofia. It covered all newly-signed team members during the summer months in the hotel. The aim was to inform the members with all the outlets on the territory of the complex, and at the same time about the hotel chain. Hotel Marinela Sofia, as part of Victoria Group Hotels and Resorts continue its policy of raising the skills and awareness of its employees. Key training and skills training will be launched in the coming weeks to consolidate the market leadership in Sofia.
This month at Hotel Marinela Sofia there was a training course customized for Front Office – “Customer Service Skills Training” and the main focus was on increasing the qualification and the competences of the employees who have direct contact with guests. Key points were handling situations when problem occurs during guest’s stay, stress management, communication with other departments and units, as well as increasing guest’s satisfaction.
Such trainings are planned also for the other year-round properties part of Victoria Group Hotels and Resorts. As a leader in their segment, the company maintains a policy of constantly raising the qualifications of its employees and such training is part of this process.

Employees of Hotel Marinela go through a training period, where they get to know the history, organizational structure and the rich portfolio of company hotels. Every new employee of “Victoria Group” is an important and valuable asset for the future development of the company. Corporate social responsibility is an inseparable part of the success and the sustainable development of every company.
This is why one of the main priorities of “Victoria Group” is investing in human capital by conducting trainings and raising the skill level of its employees. Every month the management of Hotel Marinela will determine the subject of training, aiming to raise the quality of service and to improve its team.
On the 5th of July, 2007 (Wednesday) a training of all Guest Relation Managers who are responsible for guest relations in the seaside hotels of Victoria Group was conducted. The training was about the platform Reputize that helps with the collection of ratings and opinions of guests.
The goal of the training was to create a standard in the communication and relationship with guests and clients of the hotels. During the summer season, one of the priorities of the company is improving guest satisfaction during their stay and solving problems while the guests are still in the hotel. This is one of the reasons why the hotel relies on employees with experience in the industry, as well as employees who speak several foreign languages. Our Guest Relations Managers speak English, Polish, German, Russian, Czech and Turkish, which guarantees that guests will feel more comfortable sharing their experience during their stay.
The training was attended by Boyko Manev, Human Resource Manager of Victoria Group, as well as all employees, who are responsible for client relations in the hotels Chaika Beach, Victoria Palace, Royal Castle, Royal Bay, Atrium, Andalusia and Holiday Village Elenite. Similar training sessions for staff are also scheduled for the other hotels part of Victoria Group.
